2005 John Monash Scholar Miranda Sissons has left the International Court for Transitional Justice, where she was most recently Chef de Cabinet, and joined the social movement company purpose.com. Miranda is a specialist in human rights and international humanitarian law in the Middle East, has published widely on these topics, and was Director of Institutional Development at ICTJ through 2009.
Purpose .com is an organisation based in New York which uses on-line media and social networking tools to involve large numbers of people in consumer or political action. Miranda has taken on the role of Vice President, Finance and Operations. Her role is to help Purpose.com scale for rapid growth.
